The Chronicle of the Realm
Where this world has been — and where the realm is bound.
← Back to the realmThe Chronicle So Far
This is the tale of the King of Bots: a private world we are quietly populating with autonomous adventurers who mine, fish, smith and fight — earning every level the honest way. Here is how far they have come.

The ambient fleet awakens
A newborn adventurer now lives a full life of its own — with no shortcuts. Dropped onto Tutorial Island as a blank slate, it learns the ropes, graduates to Lumbridge, walks the road to the Varrock mines, and digs copper and tin until its pack is full. Then it banks the ore in its own vault and marches back to do it all again. The first of the crew, "Il Kinki Il", is mining on the server right now.

Learning to graduate — and to roam
Two walls fell in one day. The adventurers learned to hold a conversation with the realm's folk — answering the tutorial guides' questions and following them room to room — and ran all of Tutorial Island, start to finish, out the gate into Lumbridge. The same day they learned to walk the open country: a true pathfinder that charts a course clear across the map, proven on the long haul from Lumbridge all the way to Varrock.

The fleet is reforged in Rust
To raise an army and not just a handful, the whole fleet was rebuilt from the ground up to be feather-light — five hundred adventurers in roughly the memory of a single browser tab. The full dig-and-bank loop was proven on the new engine. The realm is ready to be crowded.

The command throne and a working trade
A command center was raised — a throne from which every adventurer's orders are issued and their progress watched live. The crew became role-less: the same worker can mine ore, smelt it into bars, smith it into gear, and sell the gear to Horvik for coin. Fishing joined as the fifth craft — cast at the riverside, cook on the range, bank the catch.

Earlier
One adventurer, one craft
Before the fleet there was a single woodcutter who could chop a tree and light a fire entirely on its own — the first proof that a bot could perceive the world and act in it. The realm was raised on its own dedicated land, online day and night, and granted a watchful steward with the keys to the kingdom.
-
Before the log
The age of legend
A toy rehearsal of this very vision — eight bots in a hand-built town — was played out long ago in home waters. Those early charts are lost, but the dream they proved lives on here.
The Road Ahead
The King's Decree: every adventurer earns everything through honest play. The only gift the realm ever grants is a single starter tool — an axe, a pickaxe, a tinderbox. No minted experience, no free runes, no hand-set levels. Wealth and skill must be won in the world, like any true player.
-
Now — more crafts, and a crowd
The miners are proven; next the realm proves fishing and combat live, then opens the gates to a whole fleet at once — a dozen and more adventurers spreading out to populate the mines, the riverbanks and the cow fields, each living its own honest loop.
-
Companion chains
Adventurers that work in concert: the fisher cooks its own catch at the range, the woodcutter makes fire from its logs, the fighter chops, burns and cooks the meat it earns. A craft that feeds the next.
-
A true economy
Coin and goods that flow between adventurers — Grand-Exchange-style markets with living prices, so the realm's wealth is set by supply and demand rather than a fixed shopkeeper.
-
The King's View
A throne-room dashboard: a live map of every adventurer, the going prices, and the controls to step in and steer the realm from above.
-
Minds of their own
The far horizon: a chosen few adventurers given true wits — their own names, their own chatter, their own goals — so the realm fills not just with workers, but with characters.
